Dairy cottage is a cosy stone built cottage boasting an abundance of character and tremendous views across the surrounding countryside and towards Kendal beyond.
The cottage has B4RN hyperfast broadband
The Cottage sleeps four people in two double bedrooms. There is a kitchen with dining table, or weather permitting you have the option of eating out in the secluded garden.
Lounge
There is a large first floor lounge with wood stripped floors and combed ceiling. Twin French doors open out onto the balcony which has magnificent far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. It is furnished with 2 x two seater sofa’s, nest of tables, 2 sideboards and a wood burner effect electric fire. There is a wall mounted 50” flat screen smart TV, which has Netflixs etc, CD player/radio. Lots of books/games/puzzles to keep you busy on those rainy days, plus lots of info about what to see/where to go in the surrounding area.
Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, fridge, cooker/grill, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Iron, ironing board and clothes airer are also present. There is a dining table which can seat 4 people. We provide a generous welcome pack which is included in the rental price (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, juice, wine, butter, preserves, and cereal).
Bedrooms
Master bedroom with double bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, wardrobe, mirrors and Flatscreen TV. Features include beams, shuttered windows and original stone flooring.
Second bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, wardrobe and mirror. Solid oak flooring, shuttered windows, beams and door with access to the garden.
Bed linen is provided.
Bathroom
Luxurious bathroom with roll top bath with shower-head attachment, separate shower cubicle. Bath sheets, hand towels, toilet rolls, and some toiletries are provided.
Outside
Outside there is a small private garden with patio furniture, garden bench, parking for 2 cars. Balcony from the first floor lounge with table and chairs.
